Curatorial projects that Art Agenda, S.E.A. undertake bear an original perspective on art in Southeast Asia, with a distinct art historical focus on overlooked, undervalued modern artists and their bodies of artworks.
When 2017 concludes, Art Agenda, S.E.A. would have produced eight curatorial projects with different partners including established galleries, independent art centres, art fairs and in non-traditional exhibition sites in five different cities across Asia - Singapore, Jakarta, Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh City and Taipei - bringing an enlarged profile for modern Southeast Asian art in the larger Asian region.
In 2018, Art Agenda, S.E.A. will continue its focus on modern Southeast Asian art but be involved in an even larger scope of curatorial projects, including working with artists' estates, and in publishing and art auctions.
